My Skincare Favorites

Hey! I know its been a long time since I’ve posted anything…. I was lacking motivation, which SUCKS! But, I’m back!

I wanted to dedicate this post to all my favorite skincare products. I don’t know about you, but when it starts getting a little warmer I want to wear as little makeup as possible. To do this it is CRUCIAL that your skin is in tiptop shape. I have fairly clear skin, but it’s far from perfect. Of course, these products won’t work for everyone but they work wonderfully for me and I would recommend them with no hesitation.

  1. Freeman’s Charcoal & Black Sugar Polishing Mask– This stuff is great. It’s a little sticky because of the sugar but it leaves my skin so smooth and soft. This was my savior during the winter since my skin gets dry and a little flakey. The instructions say you should leave it on for a little bit and then massage it into your skin and rinse off. I do not have the patience to sit and wait for the mask to sit in my skin to rinse it off. It works exactly the same way if you wash your face in the shower and massage it on and rinse off.
  2. Aveeno Clear Complexion Foaming Cleanser– I haven’t been using this as long as I have been using the other products but so far its been working wonderfully. This helps treat and prevent acne and unlike other cleansers that claim to do the same thing, it does not over dry your skin, which is important during the spring/summer months.
  3. Aveeno Positively Radiant Moisturizer– Buying a moisturizer that is meant just for your face is so important. Please don’t use body lotions on your face, if you do this you are just asking for clogged pores. This moisturizer has SPF 15 in it! Protection from the sun is so important, especially, if you want your skin to be in great shape when you’re older. Its lightweight gives me the right amount of moisture that my skin needs and you really see a difference in your skin if you use it for a while.
  4. Simple Cleansing Wipes– When I’m tired and don’t want to through the steps of washing my face, these wipes come in handy. They are made for sensitive skin so they won’t give you any irritation and take off ALL of your makeup even your eye makeup. Going to bed without removing your makeup is horrible, but with these wipes you won’t feel so guilty about not doing it.
  5. Lush’s Mask of Magnaminty– I WILL USE THIS FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE BECAUSE IT IS SO AMAZING. This mask/cleanser is heaven sent. You literally feel it pulling stuff out your pores (when I first used it, it was a little uncomfortable). If you go to Lush and you’re like “OMG $25 for this tub?!” Trust me, it will last you a very VERY long time. This works best if you use it after a shower since your pores are opened from the steam. The sales associate told me to just leave it on my skin for 10 minutes and rinse off, but of course I don’t like to follow directions. I put the mask on and let is dry completely (it will turn a lighter green), I then go and wet my face and let the mask get soft again and start massaging my face for a minute or 2. To rinse it off, I get a small hand towel and wet it and start to remove the mask with the towel to get the full exfoliating effect. YOU NEED THIS IN YOUR LIFE, GO BUY IT. NOW.
  6. Mario Badescu Eye Cream– I have never used any other eye cream before, but I decided to give it a shot because I was noticing that the skin under my eyes was a little dry and I wanted to give it some extra hydration. So far, it has been great. If you’re noticing that your under eye concealer is creasing more than normal, maybe you need an eye cream to give that area some extra moisture. It will make your under eye concealer go on a lot smoother and keep those wrinkles away at the same time!

I hope you enjoyed this post! And I hope you try out some of the products I mentioned (TRY THE MASK OF MAGNAMINTY)!

Thanks for reading!
